What's Forge Mode?

Forge is new in Halo 3. Its mainly a map editor not a map maker. You are able to spawn senery, weapons, equipment, vehicles, teleporters, and goals. You can't spawn unlimited of anything. It has a money system. Certain objects/weapons/vehicles/others are with a certain amount of money. You get money by selling things that are already placed on the map. You play off of maps that have already been made by Bungie. You can also save your creations that you made.



HOW TO YOU SAVE YOUR MAPS:

You click start then click "SAVE AS NEW MAP" or if your building off a map that you already made and you wanna just save the changes that you made click start then "SAVE CHANGES." Its that simple.



HOW TO PLAY FORGE:

Well of course first, at the main menu, press FORGE. The click what map you want. When you start playing, press up on the D-Pad and you will start flying around as the Oracle. While your flying around the controls are: To move, the regular controls. To fly faster, hold down "L". To spawn things, click "X". To grab an object, click "A". While your holding an object to turn it, hold "R" and use your right joystick to spin it and use the left to bring it closer and farther. To sell items, click "Y".



HOW TO SHARE YOUR MAPS:

First click start then go through the menu until you see a thing called "FILE SHARE". Click on that then when you get into the menu of the file sharing, click on one of the open slots and it will ask you what kind of file you want to put up for download. There is videos, gametypes, screenshots, maps and umm... and i think theres one more. Well click on map and it will show the selection of the maps you made. Then when you put it up people can click on your service record and download them.
